Until 2002, the band had an instrumental strength equal to that of the original brass bands from England . This consisted of the brass section with cornets, alto horns, baritones, euphoniums, trombones and basses, and the drum section with their magnificent drums, to own design. To complete the sound of diversity that Thalita provides, tree sections were added, namely saxophones, trumpets and piccolos.With the years, Thalita has created a totally personal style. Besides these marches, Thalita provides a gala-show, shown at tattoos. This show is put together out of popular melodies and marches.The repertoire of Thalita also includes a range of music pieces from classical corals to very modern arrangements of pop songs.
These pieces are also played at tattoo finales and street concerts.

Especially for the cooperation with Pipe- and Drumband InterScaldis from Vlissingen , several traditional Scottish melodies have been practiced. Since 2002, Thalita and InterScaldis provide a show together. This combination of Pipes and Brass sound is known from tattoo Edinburgh and unique in Holland .
